Chinese Medicine consists of a variety of techniques of which acupuncture is the best known.

ACUPUNCTURE

A time tested technique for treating pain and disease. My teacher's acupuncture lineage was passed on to him by his Grandfather, and so on, going back 88 generations.

GUA SHA

Literally translated as "scraping sand,” this is a gentle rubbing technique treats muscular aches and pains.

MOXIBUSTION

A technique that warms and promotes circulation. The moxa stick, held at least an inch away, has a pleasant odor and the heat induces a deep, relaxed state.

CUPPING

Glass cups are placed over the back, typically to treat pain. The suction action of the cups induces much greater blood flow around and to the affected area.
